Aims & Scope

Journal of Rheumatology and Orthopedics is an open access, peer-reviewed international journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research and clinical studies related to rheumatic diseases, musculoskeletal disorders, and orthopedic practice. The journal seeks to advance understanding of the causes, diagnosis, treatment and management of musculoskeletal conditions.

Subject areas of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Degenerative arthropathies, such as osteoarthritis and degenerative disc disease
  • Inflammatory arthropathies, including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis
  • Connective tissue diseases and soft tissue rheumatism
  • Bone diseases such as osteoporosis, osteomalacia and Paget’s disease
  • Congenital and familial disorders affecting joints and musculoskeletal structures
  • Orthopedic implants, prostheses and joint replacement (arthroplasty)
  • Musculoskeletal biology, cartilage and bone regeneration and tissue engineering
  • Foot and ankle surgery, fracture management and sports injuries
  • Spine disorders and spinal surgery
  • Epidemiology, public health and health economics related to rheumatology and orthopedics

The journal welcomes original research articles, reviews, case reports, clinical trials, and translational studies aimed at improving patient care and advancing the field of rheumatology and orthopedics.
