Open Access & License

Journal - Cell signalling and Trafficking is an Open Access (Gold OA), peer reviewed international journal. Herbert Publications has adopted the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY) for all works published, ensuring immediate and permanent free access to readers worldwide.

Creative Commons Attribution License
This broad license allows readers to freely access, reuse, copy and reproduce articles, provided appropriate credit is given to the author and citation of the original source. Authors retain copyright and can disseminate their work without needing permission from the publisher.
No permission is required from authors or the publisher for legitimate reuse. Attribution can usually be provided by citing the original article, including volume, issue and publication date. If reusing an item that is not part of a submitted manuscript, the source must be cited correctly and the license terms noted.

Open Access Policy
The open access policy maximizes the visibility of articles by making them available to a global audience. Articles that receive high numbers of views are marked as “Highly accessed.” Herbert Publications promotes published content through email alerts and social media, increasing exposure for authors.

Criteria for Publication
Submissions should be of outstanding quality, broad interest and special importance. Initial decisions are made by the Editors-in-Chief based on suitability to the journal’s scope. There are no length restrictions, but authors are encouraged to be concise.
