Dr. Stephen Strom
is currently a Professor of Cell Transplantation and Regenerative Medicine, at Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden. Dr. Strom is a pioneer in the field of hepatocyte transplantation to treat patients with liver disease. His research focuses on upon regenerative medicine in conjunction with diseases and conditions that affect the liver and identification, development of stem cells that may be future sources of hepatocytes for clinical transplants.

Dr. Alfred Joseph Tector
is currently Chief, Section of Transplant Surgery at Indiana University Health Transplant Institute, USA. His research interests include Xenotransplantation, Transplant Surgery - Liver and Multivisceral Transplantation, Liver Transplantation, Intestinal Transplantation and Immunosuppression. He is also a pioneer in the field of Pediatric and Adult Liver Transplantation.

is currently Associate Professor, Department of Environmental Health Sciences, The Johns Hopkins University, Maryland. Her current research is to understand the mechanistic link between oxidative stress and airflow obstruction in asthma, and explore new intervention strategies by targeting Nrf2 pathways in the airway smooth muscle cell.

Dr. Henk Jan Schuurman
is currently Senior Vice President , SchuBiomed Consultancy BV, Utrecht, Netherlands. His research interest area are experimental transplantation, animal models, immunopharmacology, immunotoxicology, pathology, xenotransplantation.
