Oncology Discovery is an Open Access (Gold OA), peer reviewed, international online publishing journal, which aims to publish premier papers on all the related areas of advanced research carried on in the field of oncology and its interdisciplinary branches.

The scope of the journal1 includes the complete study on cancer that includes prevention, diagnosis, therapy, palliative care, prognosis aspects and ethical issues surrounding cancer care at cellular and molecular levels along with the study related to the malignances and tumors.

  • Medical Oncology includes the study of diagnosis of cancers and the treatment of solid tumors using various advanced techniques. The study of internal medicine related to the causes and effects of cancer can also be included under the scope.
  • Radiation Oncology encompasses the study of use of radiation therapy in cancer which includes the treatment for cancer patients and some non-cancerous cells and its effects are included under the scope.
  • Surgical Oncology  comprises removal of cancerous tumors and growths. Other related areas like epidemiology, cancer research, biomarkers, prevention, pathology, clinical trials can also be included under the scope.
  • Gynecological Oncology encompasses the study of cancers on female reproductive system like ovarian cancer, cervical cancer, uterine cancer etc. are included under the scope. The study of their diagnosis, treatment, effects and prevention can also be included under the scope
