Aims and Scopetop

Journal - Microbiology Discovery is an Open Access (Gold OA), peer reviewed, international online publishing journal, which aims to publish premier papers on all the related areas of advanced research carried on in the field of microbiology and its interdisciplinary branches.

The scope of the journal includes the study of all the microscopic organisms like virus, fungi, bacteria, algae, protozoa in all aspects such asstructure, characterization, taxonomy, classification, nomenclature, reproduction, methods and techniques used in detection and identification and their applications in current research field along with the study of the immune system and parasitology.

  • Medical  Microbiology  deals with  the study of all microorganisms, having medical importance either as causative or preventive agents of diseases in the host cells. Studies on pathology and immunology when related with microorganisms can also be included.
  • Clinical Microbiology comprises the study of clinical trials on all the related fields like medical bacteriology, clinical virology, medical mycology and medical parasitology.
  • Microbial Genetics includes the study of all the microbial genes in all aspects like molecular structure, their function and recombination. The study of the genotype and phenotypes of the microorganisms and their gene modifications are also included under the scope.
  • Pharmaceutical Microbiology includes reactions of drugs and the biological systems on each other and their normal or abnormal biochemical functionality with respect to the microorganisms. The detailed study of microbial applications in pharmaceutical industries usingdifferent technologies and impact of drugs on the microorganisms.
  • Environmental Microbiology includes the study of microorganisms and their impact on the environment that includes air, water and soil and the detailed study of the microbial ecology.
