Editorial Policies
Journal - Chronicles of Surgery adheres to strict editorial policies to ensure integrity, quality and transparency in its publications.
Editorial board policy:
- Editors are responsible for the content published in the journal.
- Editors contribute to journal development and collaborate with other board members.
- Editors update reviewers and authors with new policies and guidelines.
- Editors maintain communication with the editorial office and ensure data confidentiality.
- Editorial board members should submit at least one manuscript per year.
- Editors provide constructive, fair and timely feedback to authors.
- Editors promote the journal and uphold its reputation in their academic communities.
Roles and responsibilities:
Editor-in-Chief: provides overall leadership, ensures the quality of published content, and is experienced with the subject literature, research design, statistics and publication ethics.
Senior Editors: assist the Editor-in-Chief with peer review, ensure the quality of articles, encourage high-quality submissions and promote the journal.
Associate Editors: guide authors, editors and reviewers with journal guidelines, assist with the review process, promote high-quality submissions and support the Senior Editors.
