Chronicles of Surgery is an international open access, peer‑reviewed journal dedicated to advancing knowledge in the surgical sciences. The journal publishes research and reviews that span the full range of surgical specialties, including general, endocrine and oncologic surgery, trauma, gastrointestinal, vascular and transplant surgery, pediatric and neurosurgery. It welcomes articles on cosmetic and maxillofacial surgery, oral and dental surgery, ophthalmic, urological and colorectal procedures as well as orthopaedic, hand and reconstructive surgery, plastic surgery, cardiac and thoracic surgery, gynecological surgery and microsurgery.
